Making Gifts of Stock
Many donors find it advantageous to make gifts in the form of stock, mutual funds, or other appreciated property. This is true because this type of gift is not subject to capital gains taxation, allowing the NOSW to directly apply every dollar earned to helping women. In-Kind Wish List

Sponsorship for participants in our residential program - room, board, health screenings and program materials total approximately $5,000 for each woman who graduates from our three-week session.

Scholarship fund, which awards grants to women each semester they are enrolled in college full or part-time.

New or gently used women’s business suites (especially larger sizes) and accessories (shoes, jewerly, etc.), medical scrubs and casual clothing.
New office furniture (desk, computer stations, printer stands, and filing cabinets).
Women’s cosmetic products (new).
Video camera (very much needed).
Towels and washcloths.
New twin-sized bedding for 15 beds.
Cards (Birthday, Sympathy, Get Well, and Thank You).
Office supplies, such as postage stamps, white or multi-colored copy paper, card stock, scotch tape, paper clips and mailing supplies.
